Reece James to represent Chelsea in first ever e-Premier League FIFA 20 Invitational

The Premier League returns next week! At least in video game form.

The first ever e-Premier League Invitational “kicks-off” (controllers-off?) on Tuesday, April 21, with games streamed live on the various Premier League social media accounts and covered by Sky Sports (on their various online outlets). Saturday’s semi-finals and final will even be shown live on Sky Sports in the UK!

I haven’t been able to find the exact format of the tournament, but we know that Reece James will feature from Chelsea — as long as it’s not Mason Mount, we’re good! Reece is expected to be joining the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Raheem Sterling, Wilfried Zaha, Diogo Jota, Ryan Fredricks, and Todd Cantwell. The full list of participants will be confirmed ahead of Monday’s draw (live on Sky’s Football Daily show at 9am BST).

This is as close as we’re going to get to Premier League players playing Premier League football, so we might as well follow along.

P.S.: César Azpilicueta recently took on whoever Jesper Lindstrøm is in whatever the #StayAndPlay Cup is (was?). Dave did not win.
