When La Liga does eventually return, it will be behind closed doors. Thus, Real Madrid are considering using the Alfedo Di Stefano Stadium for the remaining La Liga fixtures in order to help the continue the work of the Santiago Bernabeu renovations without delay.
According to Barcelona based OKDiario, work will now continue on the stadium after a 10-day break. In order to prevent further delays, the top brass at the club would like to move stadiums. If Madrid do ultimately change to the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium, La Liga will have to provide approval prior to a final decision.
There likely will not be any conflicts with Real Madrid Castilla and the Segunda B schedule as many reliable outlets have reported that the Spanish federation have chosen to void the current season and push for a “Playoff Express” for the top eight teams in each group.
