Nia Sharma and Vijayendra Kumeria starrer Naagin 4 was doing good and was loved by the audience. The entry of Rashami Desai as Shalakha in the show raised the excitement level but that was shortlived happiness. The coronavirus outbreak in the country has halted all the shoots of television shows and films. Due to this many shows has been ended abruptly. Recently, there were reports of Rashami Desai’s character from Naagin 4 being axed and she won’t be a part of the show post the shoots resume. Later it was also being said that the lead actress Nia Sharma will also not be a part of the show. The reports also said that the show will be revamped and some said it will go off-air to make way for Naagin 5. All these rumours got a full stop when Ekta Kapoor herself when on to reveal about it on social media. She posted a video about the same and cleared the air. In the video, she confirmed that Naagin 4 will be going off-air and she will soon commence with Naagin 5. She also apologised to the cast Nia Sharma, Jasmin Bhasin, Anita Hassanandani, Vijayendra Kumeria. She said, “We are in quarantine, guys. After three months when we start a show, it’s very difficult to pick up a story, especially when it’s a start to finish one like Naagin. So we will end Naagin 4 with a fantastic finale and then go into Naagin 5.” After this, Nia Sharma has come out in support of Ekta Kapoor and has said that she respects her decision and does not need to explain. She wrote, “Someone of your Stature owes no explanation! Yet you’ve been so considerate to have taken it upon yourself, said things that mean the most for us at this moment. Well, this a sad news for Naagin 4 fans but they surely can rejoice as Ekta Kapoor also spoke about Naagin 5 being a grand one.
