A Dubai bakery has made a cake claiming to be the ‘world’s most expensive edible cake’. The cake weighing 54kg is a tribute to India’s 70th Independence Day and has a scene from Bollywood’s blockbuster movie Dangal with Aamir Khan as Mahavir Phogat. The artists at Broadway Bakery took more than 1,200 man hours to bake the cake which cost Rs 25 lakh. The bakery also filmed the entire process of making the cake and has posted the video on Facebook. The video also has snippets from the movies wherein Aamir Khan is teaching the girls to wrestle which is mouled on to the cake. The cake also has carved the medals that Geeta Phogat received at the Commonwealth Games 2010.

According to Forbes Magazine, Dangal has become the first Indian movie in the history to earn Rs 2000 crore worldwide after it making Rs 2.5 crore at the China box office on its 53rd day. Dangal is the story of wrestler-father Mahavir Phogat who trained his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat to win international accolades. The movie was co-produced by Aamir Khan Productions and UTV Motion Pictures.
