There have been four generations of Moto G smartphones so far and now Motorola, which is now a Lenovo-owned company, added two new models in its G series at the recently concluded MWC 2017 naming Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. The original Moto G was unveiled back in early 2014 and its high-end features down to an affordable price. The Moto G (Gen 2) and Moto G (Gen 3) brought some conscious design changes, but the Moto G4 series came with features like a fingerprint scanner. The fifth generation, the Moto G has finally been replaced plastic body with a metal body.
India one of the biggest user of the Moto G series and in the last three years over a million units of the Moto G have been sold in India. From design to hardware, it looks strikingly handsome smart phone among users. It is also the first smartphone in its price category to launch with Android Nougat.
